K&H MFG combines electronic equipment and teaching aids to provide entertaining and educational services

As visitors walk into the office of K&H MFG Co., its general manager Wu Wen-he’s passion for the electronics industry is shown everywhere. A few of special teaching aids, such as internal aircraft equipment, flight simulator panels, and wind energy equipment, are put everywhere in his office. Recently, Wu has even created a wide variety of children’s toys in the hope of helping children to learn a programming language with fun.

Established in 1979 in New Taipei City, K&H MFG Co. first engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of breadboards and basic experimental equipment. After the operation of 38 years, the company now has more than 200 employees and sets up its branch offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Xi’an, Xuzhou, and Hangzhou in China.

At the beginning of its operation, K&H MFG Co. centered on the industry of basic experimental equipment. Today, the company’s target client base is expanded from the existing customers to the industries of electronic engineering, electrical engineering, information, telecommunications, network technology, machinery, automobile maintenance, mechanical engineering, food processing engineering, refrigeration and air conditioning, physics, chemistry, biomedical science, green energy, and aerospace. That’s why K&H MFG Co. experimental equipment and testing instruments can be seen in these sectors in Taiwan.

Under the leadership of the company’s general manager Wu Wen-he, K&H MFG Co. specializes in the manufacturing of basic laboratory equipment and testing instruments, microcomputer experimental equipment, industrial electronic experimental device, microcomputer sensors and testing device, communication experimental device, DSP (digital signal processing) experimental system, digital measurement and experimental equipment, power experimental equipment, network experimental equipment, and multi-functional physiological measurement system.

The company’s clients range from technical schools to graduate schools, vocational training centers, research centers, government agencies, and private institutions. K&H MFG Co. can not only help its customers from Taiwan and abroad with the planning and design of electromechanical integration equipment, but also cater to the customer’s individual needs and preferences by offering on-the-job training courses.

Since its inception in 1979, K&H MFG Co. has accumulated abundant experience. In 1998, the company helped six institutes and colleges in Costa Rica to set up their electronic and electrical engineering laboratories. With the company’s help, an electrical engineering laboratory at a military academy in South Africa was also founded in the same year.

In 2006, K&H MFG Co. made a successful bid to help establish the ITGS Institute of Science and Technology in Central America. In 2010, teaching and laboratory equipment of green energy and aerospace technology was introduced into the production lines of K&H MFG Co.

Between 2009 and 2011, the New Taipei City-based company became one of the equipment suppliers in the “Burkina Faso Vocational Training Program” – a collaboration between Taiwan and Burkina Faso. K&H MFG Co. also took charge of vocational training and vocational education programs in Burkina Faso and Central America between 2011 and 2016. In 2015, K&H MFG Co. took part in the vocational training infrastructure in Thailand and the training center program in Cambodia.

In addition, K&H MFG Co. has also been committed to the integration of their products and multimedia teaching. The company’s engineers put a lot of time and efforts into the software development of online education programs, together with electronic whiteboard and online teaching. The aim is to create a lively, easy to learn, easy to understand, and high-quality learning environment. For example, the integration of Lego bricks and circuit boards enables beginners to have fun from learning.
