Sterilization expert “Sturdy” products win Taiwan Excellence Awards
Sturdy Industrial Co., established in 1992, now is a subsidiary of APEX Medical Group. Under the leadership of Tsui Yi-te, General Manager of Sturdy Industrial Co., the company received numerous awards, including HP series large-scale intelligent energy-saving autoclave winning the prestigious 2017 Taiwan Excellence Awards and Class B grade: SA-300MB desktop autoclave winning the 2016 Taiwan Excellence Awards.
HP series large-scale intelligent energy-saving autoclave participated in the selection process for the 2017 Taiwan Excellence Awards and stood out from 1,188 entries to receive the prestigious prize.
Such achievements prove that the company’s autoclaves can gain recognition from the Taiwanese government and their product images are of high quality. HP series large-scale intelligent energy-saving autoclave also obtained the CE Marking, approved as safe by the EU (European Union). Its sterilization capabilities range from packets to solid, liquid, vacuum tubes and hollow devices.
Another product of Sturdy Industrial Co. is Class B grade: SA-300MB desktop autoclave. It participated in the selection process for the 2016 Taiwan Excellence Awards. After intense competition, this product stood out from 1,180 entries to grab the prestigious prize .
Class B grade: SA-300MB desktop autoclave complies with the regulations of EN13060 Class B certification. It uses a LCD panel with three navigation buttons – “Up,” “Down,” and “Return.” Class B grade: SA-300MB desktop autoclave is easy to operate and flexible. In addition, this product with a clean water tank and waste water tank can record and print a series of sterilization data.
In an effort to help hospitals and medical institutions in Taiwan and abroad to enhance their medical quality, as well as improve their facilities and the environment, Sturdy Industrial Co. has been committed to providing its customers all over the world with a wide variety of medical products and services.

In April 2017, Sturdy Industrial Co. launched the latest product for laboratories – a VMB vertical autoclave, which includes three types: economical, standard, and optional levels. There is a wide range of choices open to customers based on their different budgets.
VMB vertical autoclave is specifically designed for the use of laboratories in Taiwan and overseas. It not only has a series of built-in sterilization programs for customers with individual needs, but is also easy-to-use, flexible and convenient for them to set different functions.
After the merger and acquisition of Sturdy Industrial Co. in October 2011, APEX Medical Group expanded its product lines and services to medical equipment, including high-pressure steam sterilizers, to offer better medical services for its clients.
